Japan America Society Women's Association (JASWA) is a nonprofit organization that fosters friendship and cultural exchange among women of all backgrounds who are interested in learning about and sharing Japan’s rich traditions.  We also support local school programs and collaborate with other organizations to create opportunities for learning about Japanese culture.  Join us at monthly events, including authentic Japanese experiences, Japanese cultural workshops, craft activities and holiday celebrations. For decades, we have taken part in one of the largest Japanese festivals in the United States, held each Labor Day weekend at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
